Accessibility Statement

Recipe & Pantry · Last updated August 18, 2026

Miah Industries LLC is committed to making Recipe & Pantry usable by as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technology.

What We've Done

  • VoiceOver support. Every icon-only button in the app (toolbar actions, per-row toggles, photo removal, and more) has a descriptive accessibility label, so VoiceOver announces what each control does rather than just its icon name.
  • Dynamic Type. Text throughout the app uses the system's semantic font styles rather than fixed sizes, so it scales correctly with your device's text size settings, including the largest accessibility sizes.
  • Standard system controls. The app is built with standard iOS interface components rather than custom-drawn controls. Because of this, and the accessibility labels described above, features like Voice Control and Switch Control should also be able to identify and operate the app's buttons, even though we haven't separately tested every screen with those specific technologies.

Known Limitations

We test accessibility features regularly, but the app is actively developed and some screens may not yet be fully optimized for every assistive technology. If you run into something that doesn't work well with VoiceOver, Dynamic Type, or another accessibility feature, we want to know about it.

Feedback

If you encounter an accessibility barrier while using Recipe & Pantry, please let us know so we can fix it. Email us at miahindustriesllc@gmail.com with a description of the issue and the assistive technology you were using, and we'll get back to you.
